The Blake Inheritance

The Blake Inheritance

The Blake InheritanceGreat news! ‘The Blake Inheritance’ is now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited and any day now will be available in print too.

There are two new characters for you to meet, Ryan Blake and Charlie Hatch. One reviewer has already said, ‘Charlie is such a delightful character, I enjoyed reading how, after years of hero worship of Ryan, his dreams eventually came true.

I tried to make this one a bit quirky. There’s a romance, there’s sex, but there’s also a mystery and some humour. The two main characters are around the same age (makes a change for me), 22 and 25, and couldn’t be more different. I hope you like them.

Meanwhile… I am currently on my second draft of the next in the Mentor collection, ‘The Mentor of Lostwood Hall.’ I aim to have that one ready for you in a month or so.

Don’t forget, if you’ve read any of my books and enjoyed them, please leave a review at Amazon, or/and share them on your Facebook pages and other book groups.

Inheritance, and The Mentor Of Lostwood Hall

Hi everyone!

I’ve been a bit quiet of late as we were on our honeymoon. We were married last year but saved the honeymoon (and money needed) until my birthday this year. We were in Croatia (Split) and had a great time, and I also had a great birthday.

An author, thinking on his birthday.

Now I am back home and settling into the writing again. I am working on a standalone novel, ‘Inheritance’ which is now with my proof-reader and with my cover artist. I am eagerly awaiting the cover, Adjela does such great work! I am hoping that Inheritance will be available by the end of April. It’s about two guys, Ryan Blake, 25, and Charlie Hatch, 22 who meet up a few years after they left school. They didn’t know each other then, Ryan was head boy, and Charlie was something of a tearaway, but Charlie has always been in love with Ryan. Together, they set about a family mystery that Ryan brings with him when he returns to his hometown in Devon, UK. As they ork out the history, their relationship develops to the point of… You’ll have to wait and see.

As you can see, we took our bear with us.

I am also working on another Mentor novel, ‘The Mentor of Lostwood Hall’ and am halfway through the first draft. This story concerns a younger guy, Lee, aged 21 from London, who has a road accident in a storm in the Welsh mountains. He’s fleeing a bad situation at home and is lost in more ways than one. Luckily for Lee, he is found by Julian Ford, a screenplay writer who lives in a castle (Lostwood Hall) and who is himself escaping from his film industry life. Having worked in films as a scriptwriter, I reckon there’s something of me in Julian, but as for Lee… Well, he’s the kind of guy we all dream about rescuing and saving, in more ways than one. I’m hoping to have this novel out in May/June.

I’ll get back to the writing now with a reminder that if you have read any of my novels and liked them, reviews are always welcome! Get in touch if you have any comments or would like to chat about the books, and carry on reading!
